Following the challenges of the past two years, the Heart of the Schools felt honoring every principal was most fitting for the 2022 annual event as principals had a shared experience deserving of recognition and celebration. The 2022 Heart of the School Honors replaced the program’s annual Heart of the School Awards, which will return in 2023 to recognize 10 exceptional leaders.

 

On Thursday, June 9th, 300 Baltimore City Public School principals, district leaders, school staff, and partners joined us at the Baltimore Museum of Industry for the Heart of the School Honors, a special event celebrating every City Schools principal for their extraordinary care, commitment and courage this past year. It was a fantastic evening packed with excellent food, drink, entertainment, and dancing. We hope all who attended had a wonderful time celebrating our hard-working City Schools principals and a successful end of the school year!
