The Heart of the School Awards is a special night to recognize exceptional leaders who have demonstrated exemplary innovation, execution, and leadership, building strong school cultures.

This festive evening, free for all principals, highlights 10 exceptional principals - 5 as Heart of the School Award Winners and 5 as Honorees. Winners receive $2,500 and Honorees receive $1,000 to support needs at their schools as they see fit. These outstanding Top 10 principals are selected from hundreds of community nominations.

The event closes with a strolling supper, drinks, and reception.

Proceeds from the Heart of the School Awards support the Heart of the School Fund, the year round program delivering grants to Baltimore City School Principals for school enhancement projects such as new technology, musical instruments, trips, professional development and more.
